He began his athletic career as a player in Granada 74 in all his categories between 1979 and 1988.
He delved into the world of teaching as Teacher of Physical Education Secondary Education in Murcia during the school courses 1996/1997 and 1997/1998.
He continued Director and Coach of Centro Andaluz de Physical Training and Development in Granada from 1992 to 1995.
His early training began Football Monitor Schools Sports (Patronato Municipal de Deportes de Granada) during the years 1989 to 1992.
